Giulia Jalmerot-Timarco was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. She speaks 6 languages – Swedish, English, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, and French. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Business Administration from LUISS University in Rome.

She has over 10 years of experience planning, producing, and executing different events, including mid to big-sized conferences, exhibitions, 1-2-1 business matching, workshops, and seminars. During this time, she covered everything from cultural events (photography, music, and ballet) to renewable energy, gaming, retail, sports, finance, sustainability, and mining, across 4 different continents.

In her current role as Director – Mining at the Mining Innovation Network, she heads and produces the Digitalisation in Mining conferences in Australia, Europe, Latin, and North America.
