Joel graduated from James Cook University in Australia with a Bachelor of Electrical & Electronic Engineer (with Honors). He brings over 7 years of diverse experience spanning the mining lifecycle having worked for exploration and junior mining companies within the capital markets to major producing mining conglomerates and global consulting firms such as BHP Billiton and Worley Group. He has contributed to the industry through his roles including reliability engineering, consulting engineering, investor relations, and business development and B2B sales.

Adding to his portfolio, Joel has 2.5 years of practice in the Event Services field through his tenure at Canucks Sports & Entertainment in Vancouver, Canada. He gained valuable skills and experience in operations and staff management at Rogers Arena where event capacity exceeds 19,500.
