Leading Analyst IT COO CIT DIG, Statoil Norway
Einar Landre has nearly 30 years of software experience. During the last five years he has held the position as head of Statoil’s IT drilling and well services, an organisation unit tasked to provide Statoil Drilling & Well with its IT solutions. Since April 2016 he has held the position as lead analyst within the Software Innovation unit, focusing on digitalisation. Before joining Statoil 10 years ago Mr. Landre has worked for various IT organisations as a software developer, architect and leader. His has a special interest in computer controlled systems and how these systems can be used to improve operational efficiency and safety.
He holds an MSc degree in Information Technology from University of Strathclyde and he is an IEEE Certified Software Development Professional. He lives with his family in Stavanger, Norway.

Richard has six years’ experience in the upstream oil and gas sector as a geologist and data analyst. Richard has worked on projects in over 100 basins across 50 countries. He has a strong technical background in petroleum geology which gives him a clear understanding of the upstream oil and gas business needs. This, coupled with his data management and analytics background has a given him a comprehensive understanding of how successful data management underpins improved operational performance. Richard’s strong planning and organisational skills have allowed him to define key areas where data and information management can dramatically improve the upstream oil and gas operating model. Richard has turned insight into action, embedding standards, governance, process and target operating models that have cut costs and added value to the oil and gas companies he has worked for. Richard has a fundamental interest in cross sector utilization of analytics coupled with data and information management methods that can be drawn into the oil and gas sector to achieve operational excellence.

Innovate UK is the UK Government’s innovation agency, and Jonny is responsible for the vision, direction and strategy of its Internet of Things (IoT), cyber security and cloud computing innovation programmes.
Jonny has designed, developed and delivered multi-million pound funding programmes in the smart cities, health and social care, and applied cyber security sectors, and is a member of several IoT and cyber security advisory boards.
Dr. Alan Smith

After completing his university education with a PhD from Chelsea College, London, Alan worked as a geophysicist at BP with exposure to various global basins and to exploration, development and production projects. During this time he developed an interest in the interpretation systems and how people used them. On leaving BP Alan helped to create Paras Consulting, a boutique consultancy which specialised in helping E&P organisations become more effective and efficient through better use of technology. During this time Alan worked in various interim management posts for clients, including E&P Divisional CIO. Customers have included governments, regulators, NOCs, IOCs, smaller independent E&P companies and energy companies. Paras was purchased by RPS Energy in 2008. Alan went on to set up his own company, Luchelan Ltd, in 2012 and continues to provide strategic, management and planning services to the industry.

Tibor has been working for MOL since 1987. He started his carrier at DFCCU unit and was working in different roles. In 2001 he joined the Process Information team as an application developer.
Since 2009 he leads the Process Information team and in 2013 he won the leader position of the integrated Information and Automation team in MOL Technology and Development department.
Tibor holds an MSc in computer engineering – Specialist in Microsoft Business Application Development.

Yekemi is a Marketing Strategist in the Oil & Gas industry. She started her 11-year career in engineering and then moved to business development. Within the past five years, Yekemi has undertaken senior marketing roles within Schlumberger and GE Oil & Gas. She has passionately researched cultural and digital capabilities since 2012 when she studied for her MBA degree at Henley Business School, University of Reading. She has recently published her first book, The Smart Sceptic’s Guide to Social Media in Organisations (Rethink Press 2016), where she provides a three-step framework for sustaining employee participation in social media initiatives i.e. employee advocacy. The book includes real life examples from GE, SAS, Block Imaging International and IBM. Yekemi is currently working on the launch of her strategic marketing consultancy, YO! Marketing.
In addition to her MBA (Distinction), Yekemi holds a BEng in Chemical Engineering and an MSc in Petroleum Engineering and Project Development. She is currently a part-time doctorate student at Strathclyde Business School, Glasgow where she is researching how companies can achieve positive outcomes in digital innovation.

Steve Aitken has worked on RealTime-data and engineering calculations since he started work on a STEP placement in the year 2000.
From there he worked as a Principle applications engineer – building best-in-class cacluations on realtime data for clients and as products which were licensed.
He Setup Intelligent Plant in 2006 originally providing high calibre development resources for internal technology development within Operator portfolios.
In 2013 Intelligent Plant was awarded the second place in the fast 50 Scotland, growing by more than 100% and has since developed and launched a number of unique products.
This year Intelligent Plant Launched the Industrial App Store to drive the next wave of data analytics on real time and historical data by opening the market and making it easy for operators to pay as you go for capabilities from any vendor and easy for any vendor to build an application without the requirement of a local install.
