A Canadian, multinational pipeline company just made a major purchase of a U.S. renewable power project developer. According to the Canadian Press (via EnergyNow), Enbridge Inc., based out of Calgary, Alberta, purchased Tri Global Energy (TGE) for US$270 million in cash and assumed debt.
